A workstation that ends in a document, not in a number
Everything below runs on one computational core. The quality specialist works in PRO, the chain works in RETAIL, the household works in CASA, and every measurement taken further down the chain comes back and sharpens the calculation upstream
Seven steps between a recipe and a shelf life
The user sees two of them: he enters the data and reads the result. The five in the middle are the part that a laboratory would otherwise do over eight to sixteen weeks
Open any step to see exactly what enters it and what leaves it
One core, three people who never meet
A quality specialist in a workshop, a category manager in a retail head office and a person standing in front of an open refrigerator all ask the same question about the same product, and they get the answer from the same models
The principal working tool
PRO holds the whole range of a company: every product item with its recipe, its versions and its dossiers. A change to a recipe blocks the issue of a document on an outdated version, so an audit never finds a paper that describes a product that no longer exists
- Who works in it
- Quality specialist, process technologist, an observer role for the auditor
- What is installed
- Nothing, a browser is enough
- Time for the first product item
- 20 to 40 minutes with guided support
- Product item card holds the recipe, the process flow, the packaging, the logistics and the full change history
- Shelf-life calculation for pathogens and spoilage microflora, with the regulatory category and the confidence interval
- Dossier generator assembles the document and issues it under the signature of a compliance specialist
- Verification plan decides whether a test is needed, of what type and on how many batches, and writes the sampling protocol for the laboratory
- Food loss prevention plan with a quantified estimate of the losses avoided and the measures prescribed
- Quality seal with the licence application and the quick-access code that goes on the pack
- Cold chain profile built by uploading and parsing the data of the loggers the company already owns
- Reformulation copilot answers the inverse question: what the recipe should be for a shelf life you have set as the target
The batch, not the product in general
A pallet that spent four hours on a warm loading bay is not the same as the one beside it. RETAIL reads the temperature history of that particular batch and turns it into a decision instead of an automatic write-off
- Who works in it
- Category management, quality service of the chain, the distributor
- What it connects to
- Monitoring of the refrigeration equipment and the merchandise accounting system
- Where value appears
- In the batches that today are written off on the rule rather than on the evidence
- Remaining shelf life of a batch computed from its own temperature series, with a confidence interval
- A recommended action for each batch: markdown, priority of display, donation or processing
- An entry in the loss prevention reporting produced automatically from the decisions taken
- Where a deviation occurred, the consequence is assessed precisely instead of the batch being condemned by rule
- A store-level licence, so a pilot on a limited group of stores can start before a rollout across the chain
The last, least studied metre of the chain
The law asks a manufacturer to justify a shelf life against reasonably foreseeable conditions of storage and use. The domestic refrigerator is the stretch where nobody has ever measured what those conditions really are, and this is where we measure them
- Who uses it
- The person who opened a pack four days ago and no longer trusts the date on it
- What it costs
- Free, with a premium subscription at €2.99 a month or €24.90 a year
- What it gives back
- Measured domestic conditions that make every professional dossier more robust
- The real remaining shelf life counted from the day the pack was opened and the temperature of that particular shelf
- The difference between two dates: the one after which a product must not be eaten and the one after which it merely loses quality
- Suggestions of dishes built from the products that are closest to their date
- A heightened-caution mode with conservative advice for pregnancy, reduced immunity, older people and families with infants
- Scanning the quality seal on a pack switches the estimate for the manufacturer's own calculated data
The calculation is the means, the document is the goods
The dossier is built so that an inspector and a chain auditor read it in the same order, and so that any figure in it can be traced back to the measurement it came from
Click a block on the left to read what goes into it
Signed by the regulatory compliance specialist, and for the highest risk category by the scientific director
Nothing to install, nothing to buy
The target customer is a company of fewer than ten people with no IT department, so the product had to work without a server, an administrator, a measuring instrument or a single permission on the corporate network
The organisation and its people
Name, identification number, sites and tariff, then the roles: process technologist, quality specialist and, where it helps, a read-only observer for the auditor or the consultant
The recipe and the profile
Recipe, process flow, packaging, logistics scheme, then water activity, acidity, salt and the rest, each field telling you where the value normally comes from and what is typical for the category
Calculation and approval
The system returns the shelf life, the regulatory category, the curves and the intervals, and the quality specialist approves the calculation before anything leaves the company
Issue of the dossier
The request goes to the compliance specialist and the finished document appears in your store, ready for the inspector, the chain and the technical file
Priced against the thing you would otherwise buy
A year of the Profesional tariff paid annually comes to €2,540, which is what a single challenge test on a single product costs at the upper end
Set the size of your range below and see which tariff fits and what the same work costs today
| Tariff | Per month | Product items | Users | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Esencial | €99 | up to 5 | 1 | Calculation, basic dossier, food loss prevention plan |
| Profesional | €249 | up to 25 | 3 | The full regulatory dossier, test protocols, recipe version history |
| Avanzado | €590 | unlimited | 10 | The reformulation copilot, multi-site support, integration with data loggers, the programming interface |
| Corporativo | from €1,500 | unlimited | unlimited | A dedicated scientific adviser and priority validation of your categories |
What the platform does not do
A calculation cannot be more accurate than the data it is given, and where there is uncertainty the system chooses the least favourable option and says so in the dossier
You can narrow the uncertainty with data, and you cannot extend a shelf life by withholding it
Where a test stays mandatory
- Products of the highest risk category always carry verification and the signature of the scientific director
- Multi-component products with separated phases and unusual hurdles go through manual review before a dossier is issued
- Categories that are not yet calibrated are calculated with a widened interval and a larger margin, and the dossier states it plainly
- Beyond the range in which a model is established the system refuses to extrapolate and offers a route instead
What it is not for
- Oxidation, texture and loss of sensory quality belong to a separate circuit and never substitute for the safety criterion
- A dossier belongs to one product and one recipe version, and it must not be carried across to a product that merely looks similar
- Physico-chemical parameters entered by analogy, without a report or a measurement, produce a document with no evidential weight
- The advice of the CASA application is a reference for a household and is not a regulatory document
